Doloheart is an elite school by day and a dueling club by night. It competes with Jolton to admit only the most talented battlers and executors, but, unlike the magnet school, prioritizes execution over the creativity of an idea. The meritocracy is ruthless; even those lucky enough to gain admission could find themselves pressured to transfer schools, as Doloheart’s League captains filter and expel those whose performance betrays their potential. The Dolohearts will stop at nothing to win a match.
Reflecting its emphasis on battle, Doloheart divides its schooling and campus by rank, always maintaining an up-to-date honor roll that ranks students on their testing and battle results. The A team trains in the Champion Colosseum, while the B and C teams share the Skeldogon Stadium and Frostrich Field for their activities, a daily reminder of their pecking order.
Doloheart also offers a track for support staff. Students that don’t major in dueling gain technical literacy by hacking useful tools and pirating other campuses’ innovations through the Lab Rat. Visitors from outside are so fearful of having their original ideas plagiarized or pirated that they don disguises purchased from Malus’ Masks.
